365 DAYS OF ATATURK

365-day Ataturk is a printed calendar and a documentary study dedicated to the founder and the first president of The Turkish Republic, Mustafa Kemal Ataturk. While every day is illustrated by a photograph from the archives, each leaf of the calendar is a documentary piece in Ataturk’s political life, reforms, speeches and at times hobbies, vacations, friends and family.

The IOS app is designed to mirror the original desk calendar in content and its use. The user will get the same photographs of the day, the related article for the day and be notified on national holidays.

While the printed calendar has limitations in reaching a number of people, the app aims at reaching masses, especially students. The content of this calendar is being taught from elementary schools to universities in Turkey and we are hoping to provide a reliable source of information to students at any age with the app free of charge and available wherever they go.
